In the study, we present the case of a 42-year-old patient with a diagnosis of social anxiety and depressive symptoms.A treatment of 14 sessions based on Acceptance and Commitment Feature therapy (ACT) and Behavioral Activation (AC) was applied.In the results, an increase of psychological flexibility and Race Number Plates functioning of the patient in the different vital areas was observed.
Besides, anxious and depressive symptoms were reduced.Finally, we discuss the results obtained and we ponder over application of these treatments in social anxiety disorder.
